Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Module
Our clinical assessment and diagnostic module is designed for real-time use by a team of healthcare workers, each member performing their designated function while communicating with the rest of the team through a single national database in real-time. It utilises simple and quick-to-fill electronic data collection forms.
Because of its real-time nature, information collected by healthcare workers at disease specific medical facilities is immediately available to all authorised users at various levels within the system. Performance indicator information on clinical data collected at all disease specific medical facilities is made readily available for interrogation and interpretation in real time.
Patient Bookings and Compliance Monitoring
The CloudMED system uses an electronic calendar system for tracking and reporting on patient compliance based on any form of bookings made during a given period. This state-of-the-art compliance monitoring tool is indispensable for any chronic disease management program that has a specific interest in compliance. This tool is capable of generating compliance reports by patient, per group of patients, per region, national or international level.
Medicine Prescription Module
The medicine prescription module tracks prescription of preferred medicine and monitors the prescription patterns, dispensing and efficacy of medicine supply through the system, by communicating drug prescription patterns per site or region to specific designated central stores. This module provides a paperless prescription functionality that is username and password protected. The medical worker is identified on the prescription by: clinic name, practice number, unique reference identity number, address, as well as date and time of prescriptions. The system keeps track of all medicine prescribed through the system and dispensed by pharmacies that are using the system, and it is capable of communicating medicine usage by facility or region to a designated central store, for the purpose of stock-level planning .
System Interaction with Laboratories
The CloudMED system has the ability to interact with laboratories to ensure that samples sent to the laboratory are tracked and results are provided within the expected time frames. This module is capable of generating reports on laboratory turn-around times and report on outstanding results at clinic level.
Nerve Centre Communication and Field Worker Support Module
This module was designed on telemedicine principles. It is geared towards large organisations, such as government, that would want to harness the vast number of less-skilled healthcare workers to upscale disease specific roll-out programs while enlisting the support of a few skilled medical personnel at centralised remote sites.
It affords the national support staff with rapid access to laboratory results, real-time access to program-wide specialist support networks and rapid identification of pre-determined program-specific abnormal occurrences, such as known drug side-effects and research information.
